How To Make Full Events List the Main Landing Page

To whom it may concern,

I am working on the following site (furnace41.com) and am encountering some issues with how the events are rendered in the theme. We would LOVE for the Calendar Page to automatically lead to the listing (and for that listing to align on the left side of the page, as opposed to the right). Instead, when using the widget, we have to plug in the “Upcoming Events” page – which isn’t as dynamic of a calendar as the one you click through to (here: http://furnace41.com/events/)

The “more information” pages are also a little warped. This being the example: http://furnace41.com/event/big-foot-rooster/

So we would love your advice on the following:
– How to have the LISTING page be available on first click (from the Calendar Menu option in the header)
– How to make the size of the date’s text on the “More Information” click through smaller
