How to limit the number of years for events

Is there a way to limit the future date that someone can post an event? For example, we have people posting recurring events through 2014, which is too far in the future. We would like people to post events no more than one year in advance. Is there a setting we can adjust to limit the year or the number of months in the future?

Hmm, no I don’t think so – at least not without a little further programming to customize things.

I’m interested to hear a little more of the context behind this though: are you allowing members of the public to post these events which recur to far into the future?
