    Hi,
I purchased the PRO version of Events Calendar and just integrated it in my website,
in the options I chose to hide top filters but this is not hidden..as you can see:
    http://www.stonescafe.it/new/
How can I disable the grey rectangle with “EVENTI IN …. “?

Also another question, I need to customize the visual appearance of the calendar, like changing fonts size, and backgrounds etc..
which is the best practice to do that? I write the rules in the CSS sheet which comes in theme options (my theme is Avada).

    Thanks for your support!
    Cheers

    Hi Simone,

Welcome to the forums! I hope you’ve been enjoying Events Calendar PRO so far — the site is looking great and the featured image customization you made to Month View is awesome. 🙂

I was look at your site, I was unable to see where “EVENTI IN …. “ is located. Did you happen to figure out how to hide it, or am I possibly looking in the wrong place? If I’m simply missing it and it’s there, would you be willing to share a screenshot that highlights it for me? I’d be happy to check it out.

As far as style changes, best practice is to override the plugin styles in a separate CSS file in your theme (or child theme, if you are using a premium theme). We have instructions for how to override styles in your own stylesheet here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/#customizing-styles

It basically boils down to this:

    • Make a new folder in your theme (or child theme) called tribe-events
    • Add a new CSS file in there called tribe-events.css

Once that folder and file are in your theme directory, you can start overriding the calendar’s styles directly in there and those changes will be safe from future plugin updates. 🙂

Let me know if that helps answer your question and whether there’s a way for me to see the other issue you mentioned. 🙂

    Cheers!

Hi Geoff, thanks for your reply! In the meantime, I figured out how to hide that “EVENTI IN…”, I just added in the shortcode the attribute tribe-bar=”false”.

Regarding the graphic customization, I’m reading the themer’s guide and will try to make some customizations.. I’ll let you know if I do need some help.
    Thanks!
    Cheers

Excellent! So glad to hear things are working out so well. 🙂

I’ll go ahead and close this thread since I see you marked it Resolved, but definitely feel free to hit us up with a new thread if any questions come up at all as you continue digging into customizations — we’d love to help as best we can!

    Cheers!
    Geoff
