In the documentation it says that tribe_get_start_date is not compatible with recurring events. Is there another way to get the start date of the first (earliest) event in a series of recurring events?

Hey Jesse. Thanks for the note here; not sure about this myself, but I bet our dev Jonah would know. I’ve asked him to take a look when he hits the forums today and chime in here directly either way. Stay tuned.

Hi Jesse, actually the documentation is wrong – I just tested the function with recurring events and it works fine. Please try it out and let me know how it works for you. I’ll correct the doco now.
