How to display a list of recently added/changed events?

We have a community site with lots of events. All events are managed by different people, so it would be great to have a list of recently added or changed events.
Is that possible via a shortcode?

There is no built-in shortcode which displays recently added/updated events, though it is a great idea! The first thing I’d do is visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas and submit the request there.

You could use tribe_get_events to display the most recently added/updated events anywhere on your site, so take a look at that tutorial. The snippet on our Have the List Widget display the most recently added events tutorial might also be a good starting point. I unfortunately won’t be able to help with the coding but if you come up with a working snippet, feel free to share for other users!
