The release notes for the current upgrade to Events Tickets & Events Tickets Plus say:
Tweak – Make QR codes optional via new “Enable QR codes for tickets?” option in Tickets settings
But I have looked everywhere and can’t find where that option is.
Please — this is a very much welcome improvement because we don’t use and don’t want the QR codes being printed…. but I was expecting to find a check box somewhere and I am not seeing it.

You’re the same user who also posted over here, right?
I’m afraid the answer is the same: this setting only becomes available if you use a combination of Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce. If you are using Easy Digital Downloads as your ecommerce plugin it will not be available.

We are an educational site using the Events ticketing system to manage course enrollment, so rather than a “ticket” we want to issue an “Enrollment Confirmation”. So the QR code is superfluous and potentially confusing.

I can’t guarantee anything, but our next release should address this and the setting will become available to you (and not just those users who also have WooCommerce activated).
We appreciate your patience and support in the meantime 🙂
