So I’ve done the unthinkable. I was updating some plugins and my internet connection failed, leading the the white screen of death. I removed the plugins folder and am going through the process of reinstalling my plugins. Unfortunately The Events Calendar won’t load properly (maybe I had an older version uploaded before). When I do activate TEC I get the white screen again. Is there a way to completely delete TEC from my server, database etc so that I can upload it from scratch?

To delete the plugin itself you could simply delete the plugin directory, normally called the-events-calendar and found within wp-content/plugins.
You could do this and then upload a fresh copy/re-install from scratch – and that might be worth a try before you wipe anything from the database.
Beyond that, if you really feel the urge to clear all event data from the database you could use Event Rocket. Simply activate Event Rocket, then deactivate The Events Calendar and look in the Tools menu for an Event Data Cleanup option and go from there … do understand though that this is a third party, unsupported plugin – so you would be using it at your own risk.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I had tried deleting the plugin via FTP and reinstalling but it didn’t work. Any chance it’s possible to download TEC version 3.5.2? I have a backup of 3.5.1 and the 3.6.1 version isn’t working.Other than that, I’ll go down the Event Rocket path.
