How to create a grid like view of the events

Hi,
We need a grid like tabular format to show the events. Available list view is not helping me. Is there any option to show the events in grid layout with filter option, like attached image? I want to show the events on home and other pages based on the category of the events.
I have explored the article to customize the plugin. It would be helpful if you refer any how to document along with details API documentation for it.

The closes that we offer for Events Calendar Pro is the photo view, which will not align perfectly as you are thinking. You can take a peak at http://wpshindig.com/events/photo/.

Thanks for your support. But the main issue with photo view is, it doesn’t show the Venue and ticket price. I think we need to customize the views. Also, We have to display the events or specific types of events on the home page too.
Please share the document which would help me to customize the views. I have tried to follow the document (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/) to customize the views. As per instructions in the document, I had copied the the PHP files in my child theme folder. But I found that functions in PHP files are not called/executed.
Please share the latest document/video/template files which would help me to display events on home and other pages based on our required templates.
