How to center the Featured Image?

Hi-

I have tried several times to center the featured image. It’s not overridding at all.

I have been using this bit of css and nothing happens.

.tribe-events-single .tribe-events-event-image {
display: block;
float: none;
text-align: center;
width: 100%;
}

When I enter this css code nothing happens.
