I have bought Events Calendar PRO and also Event Tickets Plus.
But I don’t understand how this works šBasically I need the following: Logged in Users can book and pay for a event.
Additionaly question: I need to change the layout (basically colors) of the events
because it does not use my theme (Avada) layout. How can I change these colors and layout ?Thanks and best regards

MemberHi Frank
When you install Event Tickets Plus, you will also need to install an Ecommerce plugin. We integrate with WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, WP eCommerce, and Shopp. Once you’ve got one of those configured, Events Tickets Plus will display a field for the price of events.
If you need further help getting set up, please see the new user primer.
To limit tickets only for those logged in, go to WP Admin Dashboard Ā» Events Ā» Settings Ā» Tickets and scroll down to the Login requirements section. Check the box to require users to log in before they purchase tickets.
The Avada theme adds their own location for styling The Events Calendar. Go to Avada Ā» Theme Options Ā» Events Calendar. They have created a useful guide for how they integrate with us.
Is there anything else I can do to help?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Courtney
Thank you for your answer, I have seen the Avada Theme options for styling,
but there are some things that cannot changed there:
For example Event Header and also Ticket area.

Also another question:
Is there a chance to just have a button, for example āBookā, for a event ?
This button just sends a email and adds this user to a list for this event, without payment options.

MemberHi Frank
To modify additional elements, try some of these tips:
- Start by modifying what you can at Appearance Ā» Customize Ā» The Events Calendar.
- Typically, donāt change the theme or pluginās css files, they will be overwritten on updates. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
- Use overriding CSSĀ files, orĀ add CSSĀ to your site using Appearance Ā» Customize Ā» Additional CSS.
- Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. Itās a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
- Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 ā Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.
You’ll want to overrideĀ the css for each of these
#tribe-events-header.single-tribe_events #tribe-events-content div.cart, .single-tribe_events #tribe-events-content form.cart{ background-color: #651212 !important;}
To change the text of the button, you’ll need to override the WooCommerce settings. Ā You can do this with a plugin, or by following this tutorial. Ā If you use a different ecommerce solution, you’ll need to look up similar methods for that system.
Let me know how styling goes!
Thanks,
