ParticipantI am in the midst of beta-testing a new installation of WooTickets and each time I purchase a ticket using a credit card, I get an email receipt saying I will get my tickets in a another email, but then that email never comes. I know that I will have to manually approve tickets purchased using a check, but according to the WooTickets tutorial, if I pay with credit card, I should get the tickets immediately:
“Generally, instant payments like Paypal and credit cards will automatically be marked Completed and the user will receive both emails in succession. For things like check payments, where someone needs to manually verify that the payment came through, there will be an extra step to finish the order and move it to Completed.”
Anyone know if there is a setting I have to change to ensure that credit card payments are processed right away so that I don’t have to manually approve the transaction?
Thanks!

ParticipantHello, again. This sounds like a frustrating situation.
Have you confirmed that the credit card purchase is in fact completing correctly? If it is marked as completed in the WooCommerce Orders and the tickets are not being issued, that’s definitely something we should take a look at. On the other hand, if the credit card order is not being completed, that’s probably something that would be to let the experts at WooThemes troubleshoot for you.
Let us know what we can do to be of assistance. Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for your suggestion. I will approach WooThemes and see if they can help me, though in the past when a problem stems from a plug-in they don’t sell/support, they point fingers back at the plug-in vendor. Here is the confounding thing, I have checked with Stripe, which handled the payment, and it went through–meaning they have already debited my credit card account for the ticket purchase. So, from their perspective, the order is completed. The question is why, 17 hours later, the order still shows as “processing” in the WooCommerce order page. I’ll let you all know what WooThemes says, if indeed they have an answer for me.

ParticipantThanks very much, thisibelieveinc. Let us know how it goes.
If there’s anything we can give you to help Woo in their troubleshooting, we’re happy to do that too.
