How to append custom meta fields to event metabox

Hi,

I’d like to add some additional metabox fields to the existing event management box. I thought that would be possible via the addtional fields add-on, but as I understand that will only enable the custom fields, name=value pair like fields.
Can I get for instance a color picker, file uploads etc inside the even managament box?

My current workaround would be to just add an additional set of metaboxes with my required additional content, but would prefer a more integrated solution.

Please let me know is this is possible,

Hello Ruud,

Good question, though I’m afraid that color pickers and file uploads are not currently supported in the Event Tickets Plus custom fields.

I can see how others may find that useful as well and it would be awesome if you posted this idea to our feature request forum. This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

I’m trying to add a couple of custom fields to the Tickets meta-box as well.

What is the “Additional Fields plugin”?

And/or are there any tips on doing this programmatically? I didn’t see anything about it in the Themer’s Guide.

@Abby: there are several options to add your own custom fields/meta boxes to the event page, just register them to the tribe_events posttype with tools like, meta-box (https://wordpress.org/plugins/meta-box/) or cmb2 (https://github.com/WebDevStudios/CMB2) or ACF (https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/)
