    I’m looking to add an excerpt of the events description in the event list widget.
    Is the following link still relevant or is there another way to do it.

    Hi!

    Essentially that’s still the same process, however the correct template path is now:

    pro/widgets/modules/single-event.php

    (And that is true whether you customize the events listed by the Advanced Events List widget or by the calendar widget 🙂 )
