How to add a space between the currency symbol and value?

How can I set a space between the currency symbol and value?

So, for example, it looks like “$ 30” instead of “$30”.

Unfortunately, simply adding a space in the settings page under “Default currency symbol” does not work.

Good evening again Rafael!

I have some great news for you.

The best method to do that is exactly the same as for your previous request: a template customization.

This will let you tweak any view to your liking. You can move stuff around, add spaces, remove unwanted information, etc..

If you need a hand after reading the Themer’s guide , I’ll be glad to walk you through it.

I understand the concept of the Themer’s Guide and template customization, but I still need assistance with my issue.

For example, in single-event.php I understand that the price is diplayed by the function echo tribe_get_cost( null, true ). But how can I change it to display a space between the currency symbol and the price?

Can you help me with that?

Hi Rafael,

Just chiming in here while Geoff B. is out of the office.

There is a setting where you can add an additional space to the currency. Head over to Events > Settings, scroll down to the “Default currency symbol” setting (screenshot) and add a space after the symbol — that will separate the price from the symbol (screenshot).
