How the RSS feeds work

Hi there,
We are considering buying the agency license for Pro. We have a master statewide events calendar, but need to be able to pull RSS feeds by category to target our outreach – both on other sites and on the calendar site itself. For example, I would like to be able to send an RSS feed of events tagged “financial aid’ to the state financial aid office, so they could feature a feed of upcoming financial aid workshop on their website. Likewise, on my calendar site, you’ll see that we’ve set up feeds for upcoming ACT deadlines and Financial Aid deadlines (see bottom of the page). But those feeds are appearing in the order that the event was published – not in the order of the event start date. Before we buy pro, I need to know that there will be a way for us to fix this problem. I’ve read through the forum and haven’t encountered a solution. Any insight?

For a better explanation of RSS feeds and how they are used please read this article to as using them with events and ordered by start date is not the typical use of rss feeds.
