How many installs?

hi guys! we just need to know how many installations we have on our license key

our website is being staged on one server (Hostgator) but soon it will be moved to another server (WP Engine)

if we install the Pro license we bought now to the Hostgator server and build out our events page, but then move to WP Engine, can we also install it on our website there?

Howdy Jason Ritchie,

You can definitely transfer the license. Checkout this guide for the step-by-step. I should also mention that not having a license does not disable the plugin in any way, it just prevents you from receiving automatic updates. So you can safely deactivate the license on your live server if you are not needing to update the plugin anymore.

Hi Brook. That sounds good. We will install it on our website on the current server and then deactivate it when we move to WP Engine, and activate it again on that server. Does that sound about right?

Perfect! The tutorial there walks you through the easiest way to deactivate. Assuming you’re deactivating it that way you should have not problems activating it elsewhere nor should anything go offline.
