    Hi,

I’ve set up WPML with Events Calendar Pro and it seems I can translate the content and categories etc just fine. But how do I translate the “framework”, i.e. month names in the calendar view? And the “upcoming events” in the list widget? and words/links like “all events”, “next event”, and all the rest that appear on the various events pages. I cant seem to access those, I can only translate content I create. WPML string translation does not provide any strings I could translate for events calendar pro.

    Help please!

    Hello again Karoliina,

Those “built in” stings you should be able to translate with the help of the .po translation files. You can find them for example in wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang folder.

You can edit them with a software like PoEdit or a plugin like Loco Translate.

Note, the best place for the .po / .mo files is the wp-content/languages/plugins folder, because there they will not be overwritten with a plugin update.

I hope this helps you solve this. Let me know if you have any more questions on this topic.

    Cheers,
    Andras

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics.
