How do I change the "Organizer" slug?

I want to do a custom slug for the organizers field. I’ve read past forum posts, and even procured assistance from other wordpress developers, but nothing seems to work. Have you all worked out a tutorial or is there some sort of help file I can review to assist me with this? I really would appreciate the assistance.

Thanks for contacting us! Unfortunately that level of customization goes well beyond the scope of the forums.

Basically create a new plugin or open registered_post_type in functions.php. You can search that hook for more tutorials on the internet.
