How can you orderby date and not have it switched to the event start date

Hey,
I’m trying to retrieve the tribe_events based on posted date, not start date.

I have tried many things, including multiple post_types in the query, but it did not affect the orderby.

Hi Nick,

You can order by post date by steting up a filter on tribe_events_query_posts_orderby (in fact you could order the result set pretty much anyway you like, not just by post date, using this approach). Remember to remove the filter once you’re done.
