How can I pull out the event date from calendar page to style it like list view?

Hellow I am trying to modift the CSS in the main calendar view page so the date shows separately like in Event List. (see attached screenshot). We have th picture and text styling fine, but we don’t know how the actual month/day was pulled separately to show like in Event List shortcode. Can you please shed light on where we would find code how to do this?

I would love to help you with this topic.

The best solution to what you are trying to achieve is a template override (view customization).
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Basically, you can literally steal code from any view and incorporate it in another view’s php file.
Once that is done upload the modified file back in to your WordPress theme’s  /tribe-events/ folder.
