How can I get a preview of upcoming events to display on the home page?

Hi, I am trying to use the calendar plugin on http://www.pharmasystemsusa.com and have a section on the home page that is pulling posts from the blog. I saw an option under the general settings that allows the events to be listed among the posts, but I don’t see them coming up under my “latest_news” section. Any suggestions on how to do this?

Hi Karen and thanks for getting in touch!

Nice job finding that setting — that is definitely the one to go for.

My guess is that the theme has a mechanism for only displaying posts that are identified as “news” whether that’s a specific post type, category, or some other classification that filters it from all posts.

Another way to go about it would be to use the calendar’s included widget in Appearance > Widgets. That will provide a list of upcoming events and allow you to place it any where on your site.
