How can I disable the Google Calendar/iCal import buttons on single events? You’d think this would be an option in the settings but it’s not. I hate to alter the code in case of updates so is there an action I can do in my theme function.php file?

I think I found a temp. solution, however, it involves editing a file, which I wanted to avoid… if anyone else is interested though:

    /plugins/events-calendar-pro/lib/tribe-ical.class.php
    Line 41-44
Hide the ICAL import button on individual event display

    /plugins/events-calendar-pro/lib/tribe-ical.class.php
    Line 89-90
Hide the ICAL import button on month display

    Hi thompsonstev,

I don’t believe there’s a way around it without editing a file- were you hoping for a front end setting to do this? I’d love to have you add that as a thread on our UserVoice forum.

For your temporary solution- did you do that with a template override? I just want to make sure your edits will still be there after the plugin updates. If you didn’t use a template override, you’ll want to change that. You can read more about template overrides here.

    Best,
    Leah
