How can I add information about the event and venue to new order email template ??

Hi!

Take a look at the following resources (the Themer’s Guide in particular) which describe many of the basics:

• Technical Docs

You might also be interested in this library of helper functions (some examples here). Though not officially supported by Modern Tribe it may give you a solid starting point or at least some ideas in terms of interacting with and retrieving pertinent information.
