We have just re-installed the Community Events plugin for the second time. Previously we allowed anonymous submissions but don’t want to do that any longer. When we block access to the WP Admin Toolbar, and subsequently the dashboard, there is no way for them to log out.
We have it set up so that a subscriber trying to access the Admin area is automatically redirected to the front-end event submission page. We did that to eliminate the confusion that was caused by them being redirected to the Home page upon setting their password and logging in.
What can we do to allow these users to actually log out of the website once they have added/edited their events? We’ve set up a test user but because the test user is logged in we can’t access the login screen to login with our administrator user.
Note: I was able to log in through a different browser, access the test user profile and click the button to log them out of everywhere but that doesn’t solve this issue long-term.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance,
Ken
