How can a parent pay and the Attendee be the child?

For us, parents pay for tickets (camps) but it is the child who will be the attendee, and the child’s name that must be attached to the event roster NOT the parent name.

Also, a parent should be able to buy multiple tickets for camps, and assign each to a different child if needed.

Can the Events Calendar do this?

I apologize for the delay in getting you a response. Out of the box, I’m not sure our plugin can do what you need. When purchasing tickets, about the only information our plugin captures is the email address. The e-commerce engines (e.g., WooCommerce, EDD) capture the billing information, which would be the parents info. And multiple tickets if purchased together would all associated with one email address.

 

It doesn’t sound like we’d be a good fit for you at this time.
