Hovering event information

Not sure the technical terms, so please bare with me.

In the month view of the calendar, when you bring your curser to an event, a floating window pops up with the event title, date and time.

Is there an option within the program to include the venue – city and state?? in that window??

Thanks for reaching out!

This is not an out-of-the-box option, but you could do it with a customization. The template for the tooltip can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/month/tooltip.php. To customize it, you can copy it into your child theme by following these instructions and edit it from there.

You’ll need to add some code where you would like the venue or address to display. This post has an example of pulling in and displaying the venue data. We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but I hope this gets you started – if you have any questions or get stuck, please let me know and I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!
