Horizontal widget for

Hi,

I want to create an event feed like what WP Fangirl – Sallie did but, I’m extremely new to all this and don’t have a clue on how to go about it.

For instance – she advised making a backup list 1st? – I’m not able to figure out how to go about doing that.

So if you could help me out – by either ELI5 o,r by doing it for me, I would be really obliged.

The best advice I can give here would be to find a theme that does what you’re looking for here and either using that theme or copying that code into your current theme.

For example, there are some good examples of customized views and widgets for our plugin found in these themes here https://themeforest.net/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&term=the-events-calendar&referrer=search&view=list&category=wordpress.

Hi,

I can’t change my theme – there’s too much content and time invested into this. I have settled for a verticle display instead.
