Home template reset to normal blog template after activating Events Calendar

I’m not sure if this theme conflict or something else

I’m using a static page as my front page and I’m using Visual Composer to change the page layout. I don’t have any problem of pages layout except for the one which I set as front page.

whenever I set a static page as my front page, it resets to normal blog layout. I can see the pages correctly as I wish until I set it as frontpage

Somehow, the plug-in resets the frontpage to normal blog.

I have exactly the same problem. I have isolated the problem to be caused by the Events Calendar Pro: when the plugin is active, the problem is there, when the plugin is inactive, the problem goes away.

In fact I remember that the problem only started a week ago, corresponding with the time of the update to version 3.1

This is a major problem which is holding up the the launch of my site, so please fix it!

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. This does rather sound like a known bug and until we can roll out a definitive fix it may be worth trying the following workaround:
