Home page display basic vs PRO

I have the events calendar installed and working and want to display it on the homepage easily. Is that available in a pro feature or on the regular free version?

Thanks for writing in!

You can set the calendar as your homepage in The Events Calendar by heading to Settings > Reading from the WordPress admin.

That does help and gives me an option to provide to my client.

I’d like to have an about section about the calendar with an image. Is there a way to do that? I know that’s a wordpress / theme function. I just can’t seem to find a easy to to include the first fold content and then the calendar in the second fold.

Thanks for creating an awesome calendar system. This beats everything I’ve seen so far. Just need to integrate this last function and the everything will be right in the world 🙂

Thanks for following up! Glad to hear that homepage feature will help out. 🙂

Events Calendar PRO does have a slew of shortcodes that might be handy for you to consider when creating additional page layouts that either display or tease the calendar. There are full calendar views available as well as options to embed the PRO widgets on any page or post. I’d definitely recommend checking those out.
