history back, and showing month you were on in mini calendar view

I have the mini calendar in my page as shortcode [tribe_mini_calendar]. When you click an event and come to the event detail, is there a way to show the month you were on before you clicked, at the moment when I press back from the event detail, it takes me back to calendar, but the month returns to January 2016.

I know the Calendar is using Ajax, but is there any way round this that people would know.

Thanks for reaching out. What you describe is unfortunately an inherent limitation in our plugin at this time based on the way it’s coded. There is not a workaround at this time 🙁
