I’m new to Events Pro and am having some issues with recurring events. My organization has both one-day and multi-day classes, some of which have a fee associated. The tuition is for the full range of classes. However, the way it appears on the calendar, the tuition shows up on each date. This makes it appear as if each day costs $50.00, rather than an entire week costing $50.00. Is there a way to set recurring events so that the cost or tuition of an on-going program only shows up for the first occurrence? People are misunderstanding the pricing and thus aren’t registering.

    Hey Jerod,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Are you using any sort of ticketing plugin when setting up the prices? If not, the simplest approach would be to remove the cost value from the event and call out the price for the series within the event content. This will allow you to give the clarification needed on the pricing of these events.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jerod,

I just took a look at your site and it looks like the links for Eventbrite are manually added to the event content? Events are then manually added into Eventbrite as well I imagine?

If this is the case, you shouldn’t have an issue just removing the cost from the event details within WordPress and just added the cost terms at the top of the event description area. This wouldn’t impact the Eventbrite links that are added further down in the content.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!
