This is a pre purchase question.
I was doing a little research in advance of adding the ‘community events’ plugin to an existing site already successfully using EventsCalendarPro. Specifically the facility to hide ‘SOME’ not all custom fields as in this post https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/hide-all-custom-fields/

Is there a snippet that I could use to hide specific custom fields please?

    Kind Regards

    Phil

Good evening Phil and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

One way to go about this would be to use a template override.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Another way would be through CSS rules.

Either way, I could probably help you better if you can give me a specific example (ideally live) of custom fields you want to hide.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hi Geoff

Yeah – I think css would be the best option actually.
Can you leave this thread open for a while, until I have set some custom fields live, just in case I run into some difficulty? – it wont be too long

    Thanks Phil

    Good evening Phil,

    Thank you for writing back.

I can totally leave this thread open for you.

As a fair warning, after a few weeks of inactivity, we have a bot that tends to close these automatically.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
