We want to add a sidebar to single events pages and find we can do this easily by choosing Default Page Template In Events —> Settings —>Display.

Unfortunately this also adds a sidebar to our Events page with the full monthly calendar of events, which we don’t want. We prefer the calendar full width for easier viewing.

Is there any way to hide the sidebar on the Events page if we select Default Page Template?

    Many thanks,

    Carole

    Hi Carole,

Thanks for using our plugins, and I’d be happy to help out with this! 🙂

This change will require a bit of theme customization, and thankfully we have a few resources to help out with that. 🙂

Please check these out and let me know if you need more guidance on implementation, though if you know your way around child theming and customizing page templates, these should get you where you need to be.

    Best,

    Shelby 🙂
