hiding "previous" and "next" links in single event view

Hi, I have found instructions to hide links to previous and next event and that worked for a while. Can you update/detail more this information as it does not seem to work anymore? Thanks for your help.

I guess there is a different view depending if you are logged on as the administrator of the site or if you are logged off.
