Hide the venue address until the buyer receives the ticket

Hi there

I would really like to be able to hide the full address of the venue on the (public viewable) calendar event listing on our website, just having it showing the City and State. Then the email ticket contains the full address for the venue, that way only those who actually buy tickets will turn up. I can’t find a way to do this and according to another thread in the forums here it isn’t possible out of the box (and I don’t write code)…is this a feature we can hope to see soon?

At the moment the workaround I have is to not include the full address in the ticket, then in the woo commerce product I have set it to downloadable so in the order confirmation email the buyer gets a link to a downloadable PDF file with our address in it. It works, but many people don’t notice the link and constantly email us asking “where’s the venue please?” :(.

Unfortunately, that is not a feature we have and we are limited in supporting customizations.

If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

To remove the address from the single and event views and that way you could include it, but people would only see the venue on the ticket.

We are not able to help with an entire step by step of that process, but can try to answer some questions.
