Hide past events in admin

Is it possible to hide past events in the admin view?
This is a partial solution to having a lot of events in the list.

Hoping that by then sorting by start date, I can at least get to the most current events.

Using the Advanced Post Manager

Advanced Post Manager

You can sort by the Event Start date, plus you can create and save filters to view different events.
