Hide my event from the Events List widget but not the calendar.

I have the Events List widget displaying some of my events on a Home Page.

I am looking for a way to have some events hidden from the Events List but still appear in the calendar view. I see that there is a check box “Hide from Event Listings”, but what this does is hide the events from both the Events List widget and the main Calendar.

Is there a add-on I need to have some of my events not be listed in the Events List widget but still shown on my calendar of events?

Please advise.

I would love to help you with this topic.

The simplest way to handle this would be by using Event Categories.

You could have a category that is assigned to every event except the ones you do not want to see in the events list widget.

Once that is done, you can simply filter the events list widget by category: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-the-this-week-widget/
