I have a site with map view — and I’m only using that view — and I don’t think I need the location search. All the events will take place in the same city, so I’m not sure if the location search then provides much assistance? You can let me know if there is some benefit…. But, if I do want to remove it, the option to hide it in the settings says it’s for all views EXCEPT the map view. Is there a way you’d recommend hiding it programmatically or via the settings — or is it best to just hide it with CSS (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/hide-near-location-filter-on-the-search-bar/)?
I guess hiding it via CSS might be the most straight forward way of doing so. Do you need me to craft the snippet for this or do you think you can manage to do so?
Please let me know if you need my help and I’ll get my hands on that,
Best,
Nico
