Hidden events still showing in calendar widget

I have hidden some of the events on the site because the events have not been approved yet, although these events are still showing upon the calenday widget on the homepage.

Obviously this is not good because people are trying to book events that shouldn’t be on the site yet.

Please can you tell me how I can ensure only the visible events show on the widget?

Hi Marc,

Can you confirm which route you followed to hide them? Did you set the visibility to private, for instance (if not, could you give that a try instead)?
