    Hello,

I am wanting to use a single header image for the main “EVENTS” page on our website. I do not have a problem doing this on any other page, but this one.

I am not an expert, but it appears to me that the Events Calendar Pro plugin takes over the entire “EVENTS” page, and will not accept a header image, text, or any other elements. No matter what I try to add, I only see the Events Calendar Pro features/data.

I have tried working with the settings/display panel, but to no avail. I have also looked through this forum without finding the answer.

I am quite familiar and comfortable editing/building using the WordPress dashboard, but I am not nearly as comfortable with actual coding. I could give it a try, but would prefer to work within the WordPress dashboard.

I am using the SALIENT theme, from themeforest.

To summarize my question: I only want to add one main header image to the main “EVENTS” page. Is this possible?

    Howdy @jaj123175,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us.

I think the problem here is that our plugin doesn’t use a page as placeholder, that’s why you won’t be able to add the featured image to it. I guess a workaround is to add the image to the template or to add it via JavaScript / CSS.

Can you share the site URL with me? Maybe checking the html of the header helps to think of something.

    Thanks,
    Have a great weekend,
    Nico
