Hi guys, nice piece of work. I’m currently testing the core version and I have a few qns but the most pressing one is the following:

    1) The actual calendar (events) shows up in an page of its own that is generated by the plug-in. This page is not your normal WP post or Page page, meaning you can’t customize it the way you normally do with posts and/or page pages. For example, the default header that the Events (calendar) page picks up is just a gray bar with breadcrumbs on it. I cannot add a header from my theme’s repository through its page builder nor can I add a slider from Slider Revolution for example. Similarly, I can’t add any other features to the Event/Calendar page other than html above and below the actual calendar.

How may I go about to editing/customizing the Event/Calendar page just like a normal page/post page?

    Thanks so much!

    Hi,

Thanks for trying out The Events Calendar.

The Event Views are archives in WordPress and not pages.

We do have this guide to modifying any of our event templates:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

You can also try changing the default template and sometimes that helps:

    Head to this page:

Events > Settings > Display Tab

    Then change this setting:

Events Template to Default Page Template

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks
