GuestHello,
I am wanting a calendar that can display 3 different event custom post types, eg. Classes, Weekends events and Workshops. I need them to be custom post types so they can be shown on an index page eg. for all the classes, all the weekend events etc.
Is this possible with your plugin?
And is the cost of the plugin a 1off payment of $89, or $89 per year recurring fee?
Thanks

ParticipantHey Lucy,
Thanks for reaching out!
The Events Calendar and its add-ons like Events Calendar Pro unfortunately only support the one “Events” post type at this time. đ It is not possible to have three separate event post types.
Sorry to disappoint!
As for the licenses, they are $89 for the first year, and then there is a 30% discount to renew every after that if you choose to renewârenewals are not “automatic” or forced, customers have to manually choose to renew their licenses year by year. These renewal costs are 30% lower than the original cost.
Cheers,

GuestThank very much for your reply.
OK if I can’t have multiple custom post types displaying in the calendar, could I add a categories / taxonomies to the event post, so that i can shown an index Looping through just a particular one?
Thanks

ParticipantHey Lucy,
The events already come with Post Tags and with a custom taxonomy called “Event Categories”âyou can indeed use these in custom loops and can indeed add custom taxonomies other than these ones.
Both things unfortunately require custom code, so you’ll have to take the reins on implementing either thing since we are not able to help with custom coding.
If you simply Google for things like “adding custom taxonomies to custom post types,” though, you’re sure to find a litany of resources that show how to do these sorts of customizations.
You could also hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here â http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folksâtheyâre simply some well-respected names in the community that weâve compiled to share in situations like this one).
I’ll close up this thread for now since we cannot help with custom code, but if you have any other Pre-Sales Questions, open a new thread any time!
Cheers,
