    Want to charge $2.50 handling fee per ticket order (whether they buy 1 or more tickets). Set it up per WC docs under SHIPPING > FLAT RATE. Fee isn’t being added at checkout. I’m suspecting that since tickets are assigned as ‘virtual’ products, WC doesn’t add shipping fees … My client however DOES want to charge a (handling) shipping fee as they will still be sending out physical paper tickets w/ seat numbers. So what is the solution to enabling a per order handling fee?

    Hi – great question.

    It might be best to take this across to the WooCommerce team for further advice, or else look through their list of available extensions. Though not expressly designed to meet the need you’ve described, something like this add-on might let you achieve your goals here 🙂

    Beyond that, you could experiment with editing tickets in the WooCommerce product editor, changing their type so they become physical, shipped products and go from there (naturally this might require a few other changes down the line, but again it could be worth exploring).

    Last but not least, we’re always interested in new ideas and feature requests for inclusion in future releases, so please do consider posting this as a request on our UserVoice page if you think this would be neat to see as a “baked in” feature of WooCommerce Tickets.

    Simply unchecking “virtual” in WC seems to work fine – the handling fee gets added.
