Grouping Band Tours and User submission dates

I’m currently developing a music site for a client, we’ve started using Events Calendar and are wondering if upgrading to pro would be suitable. The current questions we have are:

1. Could we group particular band tours together in list view. If we enter multiple entries for each band location we get a list view like this

band A – 3/1/2014
band A – 3/2/2014
band A – 3/3/2014
band A – 3/4/2014
band B – 3/7/2014
band C – 3/8/2014

If band A has more venues, it would literally overtake the entire view, could it be done in such a way it looks more like

band A – 1/4/2014 – 3/4/2014
band B – 3/7/2014
band C – 3/8/2014

– I’m open to other ways of better showing tour events, this is just one idea I had

2. Community Events Plugin
If we use the Community Events Plugin, would these entries appear in the various calendar views? Can we make it so these look different?

Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can help answer your questions.

Unfortunately, with Pro or any of our plugins it is not a feature to group events like that.

As for Community Events, they show in the regular calendar, but there is not different between other events.

Both of these maybe possible with a customization, but that is beyond the support we can provide.
