Ajax
ParticipantHi Support,
On My client website there are 3 plugins the event calendar, the event calendar pro which expired and community event. After I updated the event calendar I got several issues. I listed below:1. I missed the calendar widget on front page sidebar
2. on front end create event form, default country and state are setting to US not Australia and its state. on dashboard >event>setting I set it up to Australia
3. On calendar page I can see the events up to july, the rest of months missing
By overwriting some files from plugin to my directory I fixed some other small issues.Could you please give me some advice to fix them.
Many thanks

MemberHi Ajax,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for all the trouble here — let’s see what we can do to get things back on track. 🙂
First off, quick question: are all the calendar plugins at version 3.10? You had mentioned that PRO was expired and many of these problems would certainly make sense if it is still at 3.9 while the others are at 3.10.
It’s generally a lot easier to troubleshoot one issue at a time, so let’s start there and see what we find.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thanks for your reply and help.the event calendar pro plugin is still version 3.2 which is expired. If I update it I might back on track?
the event calendar and community event are Version 3.10.July 2, 2015 at 7:30 am #974512Geoff
MemberAh, thanks for confirming! Knowing that PRO is on 3.2 definitely helps explain things. Updating it to the latest (we just released 3.10.1 last night) should get us to a better spot.
The other option you have is to revert The Events Calendar and Community Events down to 3.2 as well — either way, the goal is make sure all the version numbers are in sync so the features are aligned. 🙂
Cheers!

ParticipantUpgraded calendar pro to latest version 3.10.1 but still have the same issues.
On event>setting>license I can not see the license key, also on my account there is not any site url to activate my license.
How can I add the site URL to connect it to my website?July 5, 2015 at 7:18 pm #975973chris
Participantyour license key is not an activation of the plugin. All it does according to the install directions is it gives you the ability to receive free updates for up to one year of your orginal purchase.

MemberHey Ajax! Thanks for updating the plugins and working with me so far. 🙂
Chris is right — the plugin is activated even without the license key. Adding the license key will turn on automatic updates for the plugin. Here’s more info on how to connect your license to your website to enable those updates.
I still think it will be tough to troubleshoot three separate issues in a single thread, so let’s tackle the first one here and — in the meantime — will you please open new threads for the other two? This will help keep our dialogue streamlined and allow us to help you on multiple fronts.
I missed the calendar widget on front page sidebar
Do you have the option to add the calendar widget into the sidebar when you go to Appearance > Widgets from the WordPress dashboard? Let me know if you don’t see that widget available for some reason and we can troubleshoot from there. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Ajax,
I just tried accessing your site and it seems to be down. Is there another way of getting there or is there a different site I can visit?
The fact that you’re only seeing the Event List option makes me wonder if The Events Calendar PRO is active. I know it sounds dumb, but will you please check that the plugin is fully installed, at version 3.10.1, and has been activated under Plugins > Installed Plugins?
If it is, are other PRO features gone as well? For example, are you able to create a recurring event when publishing a new event post?
Thanks!
