ParticipantWe have an event listed here for October 31st at 3:30pm PST.
http://ecoronado.com/event/downtown-goes-ghostly/2015-10-31/ (it’s always been listed on October 31st)
However, when you search for “ecoronado” on Google, Google includes our events in the search results. You’ll notice that the event above is listed by Google INCORRECTLY as happening on October 30th at 8:30pm PST.
How do I get Google to “scrape” the proper event data from us and display it correctly?

ParticipantHey @Steve,
There’s an unfortunate answer to your question here:
How do I get Google to “scrape” the proper event data from us and display it correctly?
There’s nothing you can do on your site or that we can do to get the data to update.
Also, it seems like the data isn’t reflecting what you said. You said this:
You’ll notice that the event above is listed by Google INCORRECTLY as happening on October 30th at 8:30pm PST.
But your screenshot shows three events being shown, with no time that says 8:30pm PST or something like that – so perhaps tomorrow the three events that google shows will not be Wed. Thurs. and Fri, but Thurs. Fri. and Saturday, and thus the “Saturday” event might show properly then.
Does that make sense? Let me know what you think about this stuff or if I can help with anything else.
Sincerely,
GeorgeOctober 28, 2015 at 1:51 pm #1019541Steve Johnson
ParticipantIf you click the event, it shows 8:30pm:
https://www.google.com/search?q=ecoronado&oq=ecoronado+++&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60l5.2068j0j4&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=119&ie=UTF-8#q=downtown+goes+ghostly,+october+30&stick=H4sIAAAAAAAAAOPgEOLRT9c3LDRNzzI0yE1R4gXxDJPKk03Kc5MstFSzk630c_KTE0sy8_PgDKvSguT83My8dIXUstS8kuIkgWSzRCNjE0Mzo2QT4xRLU0sATwx1S1gAAAA
It seems odd that Google is getting the information from our events plugin, but it’s wrong. No other explanation or way to see how Google is reading it? It’s a whole day off and we never published it incorrectly.

ParticipantHey @Steve,
I admit to being as baffled as you are here, and for this whole situation I am genuinely sorry!
One thing I did was run through your site’s events page through Google’s “Structured Data Testing Tool” – https://developers.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/
As you can see in this screenshot the results show no errors:

Well, there’s 1 error in the WebPage category and 2 in the BreadCrumb category, but I investigated those closely and they have no bearing on event information at all…
Your hCalendar and hentry data (which is pulled to generate that data in google results) is all accurate, too.
I’m really sorry @Steve! I do not know why Google’s pushing the time ahead or messing up any of this information 🙁
