is there an alternative to Google Maps that I can activate ?

At this exact time, we do not have an alternative map option. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

You can suggest it at http://tribe.uservoice.com. We will notify you there when we have a solution released.

However, we are in the process of reviewing and developing alternative map options. I do not have an estimated timeframe to share at this time.
