Google-Map on Tag-Sites

Hello,

is there a possibility to add the Map-View with all Events also on Tag-Sites?

We want the same Layout wich we have for Categories, also on our Tag-Sites but we have no Developer and need a easy Way to do it 🙂

I’m sorry, I don’t quite understand what you mean by Tag-Sites. Can you please explain in a bit more detail? Sharing a URL to a Tag-Site or a schreenshot of it would also be helpful.

Wenn es dir einfacher ist kannst du auch auf Deutsch schreiben. Ich werd’s mal probieren zu antworten. 😉

Okay, versuchen wir es 😉

Es gibt bei den Events/Veranstaltungen ja, wie auch bei den Beiträgen, die Kategorien und die Schlagworte/Tags.

Wenn man im Frontend nun die Kategorie-Seite aufruft, bekommt man oben die Google-Map und darunter die Liste mit den Events dieser Kategorie.

Wenn man die Schlagworte/Tag-Seite aufruft (http://…./tag/schlagwortX), dann bekommt man eine Liste mit allen Events die dieses Schalgwort/Tag enthalten. Allerdings ohne die Google Map oben.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Google Map auch hier zu implementieren?

Ah ja, jetzt verstehe ich völlig. Danke für die Klarstellung.

I will put it here in English so that other people get a full understanding as well.

When you are looking at the Tag pages you also would like to show the Google Map.

I will check if that is possible and how. Will get back to you as soon as I have something. Thanks for the patience!

So, theoretically it is possible, but it doesn’t happen by default. Also what you need to note is that tags are shared by posts as well as events. So on a tag page you will also see post results that have the same tag.

If you would like to implement this I can probably get you something, but it will take some time.

Yeah, i know that tags are shared, but we even dont use Tags in the Blogposts in this Case.

Can you estimate how long it will take to get the Solution?

I filed a request to the team for this. Depending on how overloaded we are it can take up to a week or so. Requests like this are lower priority versus bugfixes. I will definitely post it as soon as I have an answer. I ask for your kind patience.
