ParticipantI would like the plugin to read the location from the Facebook event and display a map. Can it do this?

ParticipantHi there,
The plugin will import the location from Facebook but you need to enable the map manually for each event by editing it and checking the Show Google Maps box: http://cl.ly/image/190n0W0T2l1j
I hope that helps!

Participantpoop. thanks. is this something you can automate in future versions? i DID pay $20 for this plugin. i would hope it would have this capability.

ParticipantIf you add this to your theme’s functions.php file, it will auto check the box for all imported events: https://gist.github.com/jonahcoyote/5032062
Does that help?

ParticipantTry this updated code: https://gist.github.com/jonahcoyote/5032062
To set the zoom level go to Events > Settings and change it there: http://cl.ly/image/181l2G1E1Z3D

ParticipantHi Jonah,
Does your script work for csv import ? It seems like not…
Thanks.September 2, 2014 at 10:38 am #717447Brook
ParticipantHowdy ygirod,
With CSV import you can actually specify whether to show the map or not for each item. If you would like to show it for ever item, then simply add another column to your CSV and fill it with “yes”, then when you go to import select that column for the Event Show Map Link.
Does that make sense? If you need further assistance, would you mind opening a new topic? I would be happy to help. We do our best to keep things to one issue per topic. Thanks!

ParticipantI am actually going to archive this. Hopefully no one minds. I just do not want stevendavisphoto to be getting emails about something that has been resolved for over a year. Typically we archive things after two weeks, but this one slipped past the gatekeeper.
