Google map API bug

Just want to let you know — there is a bug with the latest version of the Google map API that that causes problems with map use & display on Chrome browsers only, at least on touch screen devices — It has been reported here:

This is NOT a problem with the Events Calendar but may be mistakenly reported as one- so I wanted to let you know.

I am hoping that the Google team will view this as high priority, since the current solution to the problem is for users to switch to another browser.

There indeed does not seem to be any real-life implication of this for now, but we will keep any eye on this.
